The origins of all religions are based on sparks of enlightenment that have been warped into businesses and seats of power... False doctrines abound, presented like facts by charlatans who dare tell us they speak for God, as if they have some access to the Almighty that the rest of us do not.

True religion is a personal matter and nothing about it, except love, is universal to us all.

Love is the only real authority that ever has, does, or will exist.

Almost the entirety of Jesus’ original message was lost or altered. All but gone was the story of a demon who found the key to life (love one another) and tried to help us other demons find their way.

The businessmen who took control of Jesus’ legacy were able to agree on one thing: If they put Jesus above us, then they could be above us in his absence.

If an individual begins thinking that he is better than other people... the spirit is displeased. So how does being a group of individuals improve the same mistake?

The spiritual principles that physical man and woman represent (give and receive) occur simultaneously... For if receive happens before give, then this is “stealing,” a form of violence and a sin. And if give happens without receive happening at the same time, then it would be “force,” a form of violence and a sin. Adam and Eve were meant to be equals... and different does not mean inferior.

The creation itself shows us that we are already a part of something that is greater than ourselves, and that we can grow to become just like it... some acorns become oak trees and some caterpillars become butterflies.

Love is the eternal life sustaining force [in the spiritual realm], just as blood is the life sustaining force in our physical realm.

A seed becomes a fetus in the womb. Then it is born an infant into a new world, but the placenta it was attached to and received nourishment from is discarded. Then that child one day becomes a parent itself, then grandparent... Likewise, love is the spiritual seed that begets goodness to grow within us, here in the womb of this earthly life. When we die here, it is simply our spiritual birth as a new child into a new world, while our body here is discarded, just as our placenta once was.

Real religion... is simply the practice of all of the fruits of the spirit of love with unity and goodwill towards all other life.

Our physical bodies testify to God’s desire for equality between the sexes. Just look at our own bodies to see the obvious evidence. Every pair of twin members is essentially equal: Arms, legs, eyes, ears, all basically the same, yet joined together into one body...” A physical example of this is plainly seen in the way every child resembles both of its parents, regardless of its gender.

Eve provided Adam with a feeling of identity in the midst of infinity, a reference point, so to speak... “I am” may be the core of what we were given, the essence of original thought, but eventually one asks: “What am I?” and in their union Adam and Eve behold their ever-changing, never-changing answer.

The scriptures and church attendance become remedial... Imagine mathematicians forced to study the addition or multiplication tables their entire lives... the serious student of life will find that the spirit of love, and God’s creation itself, hold so much more spiritual enlightenment as to render any religion and its scriptures virtually useless by comparison.

Churches and scriptures are all man-made, so even if they avoid the crime of telling us how and what to think, they are still other people suggesting those things. What we are, by definition, must outgrow such tutoring and find us thinking for ourselves. Not only would such a proxy be bad for spiritual adults, it is not even permitted, for to presume authority to think for a peer is as wicked as any conceit ever known.

Excerpts from Selfish Young Man - Part II

Forever is the only amount of time long enough to be friends for those who truly love each other.

True give, gives completely, even the ability to give is given.

A person may speak to the spirit of god, and a person may speak about god, but no person may speak for god...

We are all “christs,” because we have all suffered unjustly at the hand of others.

If god is love, and love and money together is prostitution, then what is religion but spiritual harlotry perfected into a science.

Religions are the worst diseases in human history and are in fact the spiritual equivalent of a contagious illness. And putting the precepts of any religion above “love one another” is the spiritual equivalent of being terminally ill.

Compared to love, no religion has ever mattered, or ever will, except to the spiritually dead!
